In January-February 2022 an energy audit was carried out on the 4th block of the Sun City Complex, a complex of 9 identical residential buildings constructed by Alfa Development LLC. The complex is located between the Varketili micro district 2 residential area and the Vaziani residential area.
The outcome of the audit was as follows:
The thermal losses of the building are significantly lower than the average for apartment buildings across the country (38% less)
This implies a 30% saving on heating/cooling energy usage
The savings on energy usage equate to a reduction of CO2 emissions by 13 tons per annum
